E-Transfer is now available for one-time Credit Builder Loan payments

A few months ago we released a major new update to the Secured Card product, adding e-Transfer Request Money into the dashboard for making faster-secured card balance payments, and for increasing secured card limits. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive and vastly improved the experience Refresh customers had with our secured card product.

As a result, we are thrilled to announce that the same e-Transfer feature is now live for making a one-time loan payment towards your Credit Builder Loan. If you missed any of your regularly scheduled Credit Builder Loan payments, you can quickly and efficiently send a payment to us using e-Transfer Request Money. Making an e-Transfer payment will reduce the likelihood of the missed payment being added to your credit report.

E-Transfer Request Money is a feature from INTERAC that will help us facilitate one-time payments from our customers towards their Credit Builder Loan balances. If you need to make a one-time payment, here’s how the process works:

  1. You can make the initial one-time payment request from your client dashboard
  2. Refresh will receive your request and initiate a secure INTERAC e-Transfer money request to the bank account that is linked to your Credit Builder Loan
  3. You will receive a money request notification to make your payment, which you can respond to either online or through your mobile banking platform

This new addition to the existing online payment options is another example of our commitment to making your experience with Refresh Financial the best possible – with the focus firmly on building your credit score - through new features and enhancements to the Refresh systems and processes. Click here to sign into your client dashboard and access this new feature.

Terms & Conditions: Requesting e-Transfer payments is only available with banks associated with INTERAC e-Transfer.
